SpaceX Conducts Wet Dress Rehearsal for October Flight

On August  31st, SpaceX successfully conducted a wet dress rehearsal for its upcoming mission to the International Space Station. After completing its final requirements under the COTS development program, SpaceX and NASA are poised to enter a new era of routine, regularly scheduled re-supply missions as part of the Commercial Resupply Contract.  With a tentative lauch date of October 8th only 6 weeks away, the company closed out August with a fueling and countdown test of the Falcon 9, absent the Dragon capsule. Following the successful test, the booster was lowered back to the horizontal position and rolled back to the hanger for integration for final preparation and integration with the Dragon capsule.
